A Clinical Analysis of Hospitalized Patients in the Department of General Surgery of oo Armed Forces Field Hospital

Abstract
|
|
|
Author reviewed 390 patients who were treated in the department of General Surgery of oo Armed Forces Field Hospital from Jan. 1, 1990 to Nov. 30, 1990.
@ES The results were as follows.
@EN (1) Acute Appendicitis was the most common disease with the incidence of 33%(128/390)
(2) The common diseases were Acute Appendicitis, Hemorrhoids, Anal Fistula, Indirect Inguinal Hernia and trauma in order.
(3) Reviewed with rank, the most common group was coporal with the incidence of 28%(107/390)
(4) The incidence of trauma was 8%(33/390) and Burn was the most common cause of trauma with the incidence of 77%(20/33)
(5) The patients admittedvia OPD of GS were 24(63%) and via ER were 155(37%) in number
(6) The patients transferred to other hospital for further evaluation and treatment were 85(22%) in number.
